The Game

Relationships,
Are like a sports game.

When you're in,
The game,
You run the best plays you can,
Given a set of circumstances.

You assist,
You foul,
You score.

People watch.
They cheer,
They jeer.

Amidst this organized--unpredictable,
Game.

And you truly can't reflect,
When you're deep in,
The game.

What you should have done,
What your teammate could have done,
And what simply could not be avoided,
Until,
The game,
Is over.

This is a good analogy and so true, I think I like to be in the game. I don't want to sit the bench and watch others play the game. Never want to be penalized either. Are you in or out?
