Inside the Room

Inside the room,

She turned the key.

Locking it out,

She felt safe.

Inside the room,

She turned around.

Seeing him there,

She felt safe.

Inside the room,

She turned to him.

To feel his love,

She felt safe.

Inside the room,

He turned to her.

To make her feel,

She felt safe.

Inside the room,

He turned her mind.

To think of him,

He felt safe.

Inside the room,

She turned her mind,

From all else,

He felt safe.

Inside the room,

She turned herself,

To but a part of him,

She felt unsafe.

Inside the room,

She turned around.

She saw the truth,

She felt unsafe.

Inside the room,

She turned away.

Ran to the door,

She felt unsafe.

Inside the room,

She turned the key.

Unlocked the door,

She felt unsafe.

Outside the room,

She turned the key.

Locking it in,

She felt safe.

I like it! Your imagery and symbolism make me really curious as to what exactly the room is, and what exactly she's locking out in the beginning and locking in at the end.
