It's Okay
It's okay,
I'm not asking you to believe.
You see what you want in me.
I know who I am,
And this is my world.
I need not catch the rocks you hurl.
I'll be gone before you know,
Played but once upon your mind,
The same old story from another time.
My only counsel in this time,
Is to keep your baggage light.
For only love lifts us in flight.
If you do not like what you see,
Then turn your eyes from me,
And work upon your own dream.
