Love

I was thinking of you today,
In a heartfelt way,
And I miss you.

Sometimes I'm not the best,
On your heart- I've laid distress,
But I love you.

Now that you are gone,
I see the ways I'm wrong,
And you're steady as the sun.

I know the reasons why,
It's you who's standing by,
To protect me.

Dreams-they come and go,
But it's only you I know,
Who loves me.
