Inside

Inside

Demon starving,
Howling at me from the back of my mind.
Feeding off morsels of instability,
Famished for a feast.

Breaking me down,
Weakening, like a jelly legged fawn.
Vulnerable to him,
Sickening me.

He wants to feed on my pain,
I turn him away.
Still he's there,
Tapping on the window.

Looking at me,
He knows me.
Wants to devour me.

So I will be inside of him,
Trapped inside of him.
