And just like that,
It came and went,
Through my mind.
Like a sweet stream.

Lingering,
I ponder.
Intrigue.
Fantastic thoughts I had!

He was there,
Swallowed in shadows,
Of suppressed love.

It wasn't supposed to be,
Wasn't supposed to happen to me.

My mind turns it over,
Like a candy drop.
Tasting the sweet memory,
Trying to bring something back.
But it only melts quickly away in my mind...
